Schaum's Outline Series

There is a Schaum's Outline Series book for dozens of math courses. They give you the information you need about a math subject without overwhelming you with unnecessary details. Throughout my student career, when I didn't understand something from my assigned math textbook, I turned to Schaum's.


For the Praxis II Math exam, if you feel you need a textbook, I recommend these: College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Discrete Math.


Unfortunately, as good as the Schaum's books are, they are not specifically designed for the Praxis exams. They don't take the same approach that you as a Praxis exam-taker need to take. Nevertheless, if you need a book, these are the ones to get. They are paperback, they're not expensive, and they even can be found used.
